Nano Imaging

Detection of liposomes

Are the liposomes you use or produce present and stable in the finished product? Answers to these questions are reliably provided by the TEM freeze fracture/replica technique. With this method, the analyses can be performed directly on the product without further preparatory steps, such as dilutions.

Liposomen

Visualization of liposomes in the finished product.

Detection of nanoparticles

Does the sunscreen lotion contain nanoparticles such as titanium dioxide? This question can also be answered reliably using the TEM freeze fracture/replica technique. The analyses can be performed directly on the product without further preparatory steps, such as dilution. Even the smallest quantities of homogeneously distributed nanoparticles are reliably detected.

Nanopartikelanalyse von Zahncreme

Visualisation of nanoparticles, raw material  (Titandioxid) and in finished products  (Sunscreen, toothpaste) .

Freeze fracture analyses for structure elucidation

In which phase of the emulsion is the active ingredient present? How large are my micelles? What do the liposomes in the product look like? Answers to these questions are reliably provided by the TEM freeze fracture/replica technique. Using special immune marking techniques, even active ingredients can be localized and visualized in the finished product with nanometer precision.

Whether in cosmetic products, foodstuffs (e.g. milk, cream or ketchup) or dietary supplements, we carry out analyses parallel to the product development process if required, thereby significantly reducing the time originally budgeted. Your new and innovative products will be ready for the market much sooner.
